PROFIL EPIDEMIOLOGIQUE DES PATIENTES REALISANT UNE EXPLORATION TUBAIRE A L’HOPITAL MERE ENFANT DE LIBREVILLE

Résumé

Objectifs: Décrire les caractéristiques sociodémographiques, cliniques, et paracliniques des patientes se soumettant à une exploration de la perméabilité tubaire lors du bilan d’infertilité.
Patientes et méthodes: Il s’est agi d’une étude rétrospective. Sur une période de 2 ans, nous avons colligé 109 dossiers. Les données obtenues à partir des dossiers des patientes ont été recueillies sur une fiche d’enquête. Nous avons étudié les paramètres épidémiologiques, cliniques, et para cliniques suivants: l’âge, l’activité rémunératrice, le statut matrimonial et les lésions tubaires. L’analyse a été faite avec les logiciels Stata version 14 et Excel 2013.
Résultats: L’âge moyen des patientes était de 33,3 ans ± 5,3. Parmi elles, 69,7% avaient une activité rémunératrice et 64,2% vivaient en concubinage. L’infertilité était secondaire chez 83,5% des patientes. L’antécédent de salpingite était retrouvé chez 16% des patientes. L’obstruction tubaire bilatérale était retrouvée à l’hystérosalpingographie chez 77,1% et à la   cœlioscopie chez 65,1%.
Conclusion: Il s’agit de patientes en âge de procréer, ayant une activité rémunératrice, présentant une infertilité secondaire et une obstruction tubaire bilatérale.

Abstract

Objective: Describe the socio-demographic characteristics of patients undergoing tubal occlusion test during a fertility screening.
Patients and methods: This is a retrospective study. Over 2 years, we have collected 109 patients’ files, including epidemiologics settings as follow: age, work, marital status. On the other side tubal lesion were described. The data was collected from the patients files were grouped on a secured file. Statistical analysis was done using the STATA 14 software and Excel.
Results: The average age of the patients was 33.3 years. Amongst the patients, 69.7% were actively working with a permanent income and 64.2% were living in cohabitation with their partners. Secondary infertility and pelvic inflammatory disease were found in 83.5% and 16% of patients respectively. Bilateral obstruction of the fallopian tube were identifies through hysterosalpingography in 77.1% of patients and through coeloscopy in 65.1%.
Conclusion: These are patients of childbearing age with a permanent income and facing secondary infertility.
